just a quick update...received birthday@ xmas gift from my beloved sister....kamu tiguk la ni...color kasut tu yg ndak tahan tu..brani kah sia pakai ni jln-jln d KK ah??!

about the stitches again....

Finally, after 1 week....yesterday was the day to remove the stitches.....i can feel that sure tidak cantik the scar....as i've expected i can say it is a lousy scar...waduh! bida la...the wound is still wet....

Nurse : Memang begini la...sebab luka dia haritu dalam bah.....

Me : Pandai OK juga bah ni kan??

trying to convince myself that the scar will turn out ok and nice later on....

Nurse : Ya! tapi mau makan masa lama la.....

Me : Ya la....

but still sad...to see Ian's wound @ scar like that.....

we bla..bla..bla.....& etc...

"the scar tidak cantik kan??!!"

Later, the doctor came in and looked at Ian's wound....

Doctor : Ya...lousy scar huh?! but don't worry...luckily, he is still young..the wound can heal faster. The scar at his eyebrow so his eyebrow can cover it don't worry!....*smiles at us*

Me & hubby : * just listened & agreed*

But, there is an infection in Ian's wound..so the doctor asked the nurse to clean it with "hidrogen peroxide" then the doctor went out from the OT room...before he left...he asked the nurse to call him again if she is done cleaning ian's wound. *to cut the story short* nothing much...the doctor asked us to come again for a review to look at Ian's wound la...maybe we will go on thurdays or friday la..coz hubby will be away for a few days to attend EIP at Keningau...*sigh*

i.Be more healthier
a)healthy food, healthy diet!
b)Going for regular check-ups with the doctor if any physical ailments exist.

ii.Be a good Wife
*Dengar cakap Hubby..jgn suka melawan!- I'll try la ya dear!

iii.Be a good Parent/Mother
a)bringing a balance between love and discipline.
b)helping them with their home work & etc.- part paling malas ni....
c)spending more time with the kids.
d)scrutinizing the child's eating habits and putting a stop to fast foods.
e)preparing and serving healthy meals to the family.
~ for d & e - I try my best la...malas masak bah...selalu semua mau yang cepat masak! Lagipun anak2 cerewet makan!

iv.Earn more money and Savings

b)start putting $$$ in ASB - every month!

another busy day...

Another busy day...about 10am today while chit-chatting with a friend, she told me that a friend of ours - Cheun had an accident on new year's eve and has been admitted to the Neurosugery Ward of QEH. I decided to visit her and called up Mimi & Yen Sen...luckily, both of them were free..so, we met up at QEH at around 12:40pm.

When YS & I arrived at the ward, there was nobody there with her(Cheun). The nurses said her husband went out for lunch. So, we decided to wait for her husband as well as Mimi who has yet to arrive. Lagipun, my friend-Cheun pun tengah tido..tidak mau kacau her la...we waited about 5-10mins then we saw the husband coming in..followed by Cheun's brothers and friends. Then later Mimi arrived too! Thankfully, there were no visible cuts or bruises on her face but i don't know la if there were any on other body parts of her body..there was only a slight swelling around her left eye. According to her 2nd brother, there was a small blood clot di kepala..if the clot does not "go away" on its own, then they would need to operate! Hopefully, ok la tidak payah operate. Her husband said, her condition was better today! She could recognize some of her family members oredi....apparently she couldn't remember anyone of them earlier on...temporary memory lost i guess?! Terkejut kali kan?? She may be allowed to go home today..Thank God!

After the visit, my hubby said jom pigi tinguk rumah baru AK! So, pigi la tinguk...curi-curi idea but only from outside la coz AK was not around! Sampai rumah tengah-tengah sibuk mau urus anak-anak mau kasi tidur..I wanted to see Ian's wound as the doctor said that the bandages can be taken off after 2 days. So buka la tu bandage..alalalala...tidak melekat kulit yang diluar but inside ok....so, apalagi sibuk lagi...terpaksa keluar go to clinic again....at first went to Polyclinic Putatan, but the doctor said better go to Polyclinic Jalan Pantai coz the glue stitches dorang yang buat so better minta opinion doctor sana balik samada mau guna glue or normal stitches...aiyo malasnya wanna go to KK again??? So what to do...have to go la *sigh*

*cut the story short* If i knew Ian ni jenis kabal tidak takut sakit memang masa yang dia jatuh biar saja peform normal stitches. Kamu mau tahu...kena jarum bius 3 jarum macam tiada ja..tidak nangis or even twitch kena sakit... When hubby first informed a friend that our son got injured and needed stitches, the friend asked which son? When hubby told him that it was Ian, the friend said "Alalala, kalo si Ian ko jangan takut, dia memang karas punya, boleh tengok dari gaya dia ma...kana hantam oleh si Isaac pun ok aja...", I guess he was right... Aisesese, bikin panas..but tu la banyak juga darah ooo when kena jahit....so, apalagi kena 2 stitches la..mmg kali ni bida la ni scars ni....what to do kan?? Hopefully like his father said before "BABE MAGNET?". He also added today that at least now when Ian gets into close proximity with anyone, that person might see the scar and ask about it and Ian can brag about it and hence reduce the risk of a...what was it hubby called...an uncomfortable silence (whatever, you crazy and horny old man!) hahahahaha....no la just kidding..yang penting the wound is OK & he is OK too....

1st day of 2009

Hi good people...Happy New Year 2009....I hope u have a good day today but not for my family especially my 2nd son....why??? just scroll down and see the photos...you can tell why???

It happened around 11am at my MIL's house....i dunno how but definately fell down la....we realized it when Taiko Z called me....

Taiko Z : Mummy, Ian nangis..berdarah kepala dia....

i thought only a small cut......

Me : Bang, pi tiguk si Ian napa dia???

then hubby went to the living room to see Ian.....

Hubby: Wah! punya banyak darah....

nah! kabak-kabak sudah jantung when i heard hubby screamed banyak darah! When i looked at Ian aduh sakit hati ooo...panic pun ada la....berdarah agak banyak juga la and can see macam dalam tu cut....apalagi we rushed to the nearest clinic, we decided to go to Klinik Mesra where we used to go but unfortunately it was closed. We went to a 24 hour policlinic but the doctor or dresser told us that they only have normal stitches available(sure sakit & bida if i ask for that kan?) He suggested to us to go to Jalan Pantai Branch if we wanna use the glue type stitches...but the doctor or dresser was kind enough to clean the cut and tampal sementara for free...hehe

Hubby said just go to RMC la sure sana ada?? Bukan apa la...nama ja medical centre but rupanya tidak buka or at least ada nurse kah or on call doctors kah? tapi teda..only the pharmacy counter saja buka! When i asked the pharmacy staff ada doktor kah? kamu percaya dia cakap kalo mau call doktor buli tapi mau tunggu 1 jam la...so dissapointed :(. So, pigi ja la Kilinik di Jalan Pantai ...luckily, when we arrived, there were not so many patients waiting for their turn....to pendekkan crita...after gam tu luka..tunggu untuk bayar & ubat....hahaha guess what? unexpected amount pula huhu Rm415...apalagi nasib ada bawa "magic card" swipe loorrr....ni la ni bisuk mau urus mau claim insurance...*sigh*

Afterwards, Hubby mentioned something about the incident...when it occurred, Ian did not cry nor did he look for any attention, instead it was Isaac that informed us...the thing is, when Hubby found him, Ian was hiding under the table...why?! Was he afraid that we would've scolded him?! Are we such mean and god forbid bad parents that he daren't cry for our attention?! Or was it just his nature, being the hyper active, dare devil child that he is, that he is ashamed of his injury? Entah la...

The wound as it turned out was 1cm deep and 4-5cm wide...the doctor at the clinic actually advised using ordinary stiches. But she conceeded to my request and said that we should come back for a review next week to check if the glue stiches are effective or not...Hubby would of preferred ordinary stiches coz the scars would be a babe magnet in the future...silly old man...:p

Another incident worth mentioning...on the way to Jalan Pantai, I started to get a bit emotional... I started to recall a dear friend mentioning of how they missed their late second child who has passed away a few years back...among the things they missed was how hyper-active she was. Ian is hyper-active as well and I guess this similarity and the situation at the time made my mind think of unthinkable things and I started to get emotional and next thing you know tears started to flow... I was just about to make idle conversation with Hubby about this but... alalah, kena sound pula...I think he was in the moment trying to get us to the clinic as fast as we can, thats why he was angry with me...I think his words were "Ini bukan masanya mau emotional...Focus bah...Focus..." Alalah... when your husband starts to use words like that you know that he's been to one too many morale boosting, team building type of courses or seminars...

So there you have guys...our first day of 2009...I hope that none of you have to go through what we did...be safe and prepared in whatever you do...Happy New Year 2009...
